Focus

My primary research interests involve head and neck malignancies, gynecological malignancies, breast cancer, prostate cancer and brain tumors.

I am interested in the utilization/efficacy of Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) and Image Guided Radiation therapy (IGRT) in the treatment of head and neck malignancies, brain tumors and cervical cancers.

I am also interested in the utilization of newer and exciting conformal techniques like Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Stereotactic Radiotherapy (SRT) and Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), Gating Radiotherapy at various suitable sites.

I am very keen to utilize my acquired knowledge through various international fellowships and trainings done abroad into clinical practice for the betterment of my patients. I am very much interested in research activities and have been Principal and Co investigator of many trials and at present currently Principal Investigator for three trials in head and neck cancer out of which one trial is very multicentric international randomized trial for recurrent head and neck cancer.
