My primary research interests involve head and neck malignancies, gynecological malignancies, breast cancer, prostate cancer and brain tumors.

I am interested in the utilization/efficacy of Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Image Guided Radiation therapy (IGRT) and Rapidarc/Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT) in various sites.

I am also interested in the utilization of newer and exciting conformal techniques like Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Stereotactic Radiotherapy (SRT) and Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) at various suitable sites and include the latest guidelines including hypofractionation radiation therapy schedules as indicated in daily clinical practice.

I am very keen to utilize my acquired knowledge through various international fellowships and trainings done abroad into clinical practice for the betterment of my patients.

I am very much interested in research activities and have been Principal Investigator and Co investigator of many international trials.

I was Academic Incharge of all Resident students and have three registered MD students under me. I am keen and active involved in supervising their thesis work as well designing the academic study pattern of students and very enthusiastic in guiding and teaching them through their residency career.
